Lucho has used his advanced carpentry skills on the project since its start in February 2015. He specializes in custom and original design concepts, and works closely with Leonardo to bring an element of finesse to eco-construction. Juan Bachi Pilotta designed, instructed, and imstalled the Earthship's solar electrical system. Located in Mar de Plata, Argentina, Juan is a founding partner of Cooperativa Caminantes, a group of professionals focused on designing and executing permaculture and bio-construction projects. Based in El Bolsón, Manos al Barro instructed a mud construction workshop on the property in April 2015. They executed the fine mud work in all three bedrooms as well as the internal archway façade, and helped us build our very own mud brick oven. To get in touch with them,

In March of 2015, Earthship Biotechture taught a month-long Earthship Academy workshop to over 50 international students on the property, putting up the main structure of the building as well as inspiring participants and locals to start their own sustainably-minded construction projects. Cristina is our on-site gardener for the 2015-2016 season. She is an expert in bio-intensive organic food production, utilizing heirloom varieties and educating our volunteers and guests on local edible and medicinal plants.
